In-house counsel and legal professional privilege

The communications between in-house counsel and the corporations employing them may be subject to legal professional privilege, however the question of whether certain communications are privileged is often a vexed and difficult one.In-house counsel needs to be wary of the inherent conflict which can arise when acting in a dual capacity both as legal adviser and company employee.
